A note, not a challenge
I’m Cali. I write the training for Strength Society for Women — which is a long way of saying: I will not ask you to become someone else in a matching set.
This week is a goblet squat, a floor press, a suitcase carry you can walk down the hallway with. Dumbbells. A chair if a joint complains. About forty minutes. Stop while two clean reps are still in the tank.
If the last two reps rush, the dumbbell is too heavy. That’s the whole coaching cue.
Same two days next week. Write the load on the first one. Beat one number — not the whole plan.
Free. I won’t chase you. Unsubscribe whenever you want.
Miss A? Do B when you can. Do not stack both on Sunday to “catch up.” That’s how this stays a baseline instead of a guilt project.
You’ve started and stopped. You have a pair of dumbbells and a week that already contains a job. You would rather own twelve lifts than collect seventy.
A 75-day challenge. A gym-bro program with the pronouns swapped. A promise that your life will look different by Friday. Confidence first. Load second.
The $9 First 12 Lifts is the same two sessions with cues, sister lifts (chair squat if the goblet doesn’t agree with a knee), and a page to write the number so it doesn’t live in your notes app.
